Happy New Year and welcome to a new decade. We hope the new semester starts off on the right foot for each of you. Goal setting is a traditional part of bringing in a new year. We encourage you to set goals to take your chapter to the next level of achievement.
In the latest Adviser-to-Adviser update, we asked the question, “What surprised you the most the first time you took students to a district or state meeting?” Janet Driscoll of New York responded, “I was so impressed by the officer's stage presence, the way the students took charge of the meetings and how there were so many opportunities for students to get recognition and leadership training.”
Whether it is taking your students to a district or state meeting or beginning a big project or recruiting new members, we hope you enjoy setting and work toward your goals in 2010.
